Maria Eriksson

Maria Eriksson is a postdoctoral fellow at Humlab at Umeå University. Her work explores the history and politics of everyday digital technologies, focusing on how software technologies regulate the circulation of cultural content online. She has co-authored the book Spotify Teardown: Inside the Black Box of Streaming Music (2019). Eriksson is currently a visiting scholar at the department of Media Studies at Universität Basel.
