Simon Denny
Simon Denny is an artist working with installation, sculpture, and video. His researchbased art projects explore the interaction and politics of tech business culture, both in governmental and commercial infrastructures. He studied at the Elam School of Fine Arts at the University of Auckland, New Zealand, and at the Städelschule, Frankfurt am Main under Willem de Rooij. His work has been featured in solo shows at institutions worldwide, including the Serpentine Galleries, London; MoMa PS1, New York; and MuMOK, Vienna, as well as in group shows at prominent museums and biennials, including the ICA, London; Centre Pompidou, Paris; and 9th Berlin Biennale. In 2015 Denny represented New Zealand at the 56th Venice Biennale.
