Catherine Dossin

Catherine Dossin is Associate Professor of Art History at Purdue University and chief editor of the Artl@s Bulletin. Her research pertains to the geopolitics of the art world, cultural transfers, artistic circulations and historiography. Among her publications are The Rise and Fall of American Art, 1940s–1980s: A Geopolitics of Western Art Worlds (2015), Circulations in the Global History of Art (co-edited with Thomas DaCosta Kaufmann and Béatrice Joyeux-Prunel, 2015,), and France and the Visual Arts since 1945: Remapping European Postwar and Contemporary Art (2018).
