Maud Canisius

Maud Canisius is an artist and landscape architect conducting research as a PhD candidate in the faculty of Art and Design at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. Her multidisciplinary practice puts a focus on walking as an artistic gesture, sensorial tool and connector between people and environments. Her work is concerned with the socio-political aspects of environmental relations, culture/nature, embodiment, the Anthropocene, experimental cartography and feminist methodologies.
