Khalid Alaboud

Khalid Alaboud studied Arabic literature at the University of Damascus. He worked as a teacher in his hometown of Deraa and was editor of a youth magazine. After fleeing, he worked in Jordan for the Rozana and al-Balad radio stations. He has been in Berlin since 2014 and is involved with the storytelling project House of Syrian Stories. At Amal, Berlin! he primarily writes reports and observations about the coexistence of old and new Berliners and also writes commentaries and articles for other media.
