Jorge Alencar

Jorge Alencar is involved with dance, audiovisual, theater, curatorship, writing and education. He graduated in social communication and dance. Among his works are Strip Tempo (contemporary stripteases), Chama, a choreography for the Balé Teatro Castro Alves-Bahia State Company (2019), and the TV series A lei do Riso. He works with Neto Machado, Xavier Le Roy and the drag queen Rainha Loulou, among others. In 1998, Alencar has created the artistic collective and production company Dimenti Produções Culturais, based in Salvador-Bahia.
