Anthropocene Campus
Key Terms I with Matteo Pasquinelli, Marco Armiero and Herbert Lohner; Moderation: Cordula Hamschmidt
The threatened scenarios of impending catastrophe in the Anthropocene repeatedly pose us with the question of how to approach it. What is to be done? This implies other questions: who are the actors in the whole? What about social inequality and hierarchies? What about nature? Capital? Technology? Between the large, universal “we” and the individual “I,” we are left with the question of collective identities. On thing seems clear in the discussion at the conclusion of the Anthropocene campus: the human being alone is incapable of fixing things: How can change be managed?
Part II of the public presentation of the “Key Terms,” Key Term I, “Agency.”
