Anthropocene Campus | Geo-Politics: Conflict and Resistance in the Anthropocene
Sat, Nov 15, 2014 presented by Adrian Lahoud; co-developed with Eyal Weizman
Conflict follows calculus... The link between violent conflicts and population growth is perhaps one of the most bloody at the dawn of the Anthropocene. In very much the same league, the conflicts over raw materials, water, or access to food, technology, education, and other capital. How to map new frontiers? A conversation around the geopolitics of the new epoch, from environmental crimes to the limits of knowledge with Adrian Lahoud and Nabil Ahmed from the research group Forensic Architecture in the framework of the Anthropocene Campus.
