To Janet Goldner, As surprising as it may be for tourists, favelas in Brazilian capitals - they can be huge in Rio de Janeiro and S=E3o Paulo - have TV antennas on every roof - roof being a very "strong" word for this kind of habitat. You could expect them to access the Web in a shorter or longer time; but of course as you said, they would basically need electricity. However, the trend is wireless ways of communication, mobile phones will connect with the Web. And they are becoming cheaper and cheaper...=20 We can imagine that very few "tribal" enclaves will remain isolated from the global mainstream.=20 No conclusion... Josette
