By the way, I'd just like to congratulate (belatedly) Frederick Noronha and Partha Pratim Sarker on their great Bytes for All site. http://www.bytesforall.org As it says on their top page pop-up window, though, 'A computer costs the average Bangladeshi more than eight years' income, compared with one month's wage for the average American.' In Japan you can buy a cheap PC for about 1000 US dollars, making it a lot less than an average month's salary here. And I hate to think how many perfectly good PCs go in the trash every year. Tom
