*** Haus der Kulturen der Welt: Forum1 Archive *** ----------------------------------------------------------------------- [Date]: Thu, 09 Dec 1999 19:15:45 +0100 [From]: "die.tipse" [To]: Cultural Exchange via Internet [Subject]: Re: [forum1] Re: sensation - the last laugh dear kim. thanx a lot for your respond on my criticism about governmental art censorship. i dont wanted to blame only australia for such a usual behaviour. it is happening worldwide all the days... since a couple of years i have got the impression that more and more people open their eyes widely to look below the lines, look above the horizon of money and mammon. if too much people do this the kapitalistic government is at its end. gov. hand in hand with the regional media succeeded on the other side very good in manipultating their inhabitants. most is believed as it was in the past when the tv was still the church. they still transport the living ideas which everybody has to adopt - others are accepted, sure. the virtual majority of rightliving people is a big pressure & it can harm sensitive persons. internet is destroying that one-dimendional one-way-communication. i am not sure that it will one day form a critical amount of ppl with same political interest being able to stop all that way down. art and philosophy just started to help forming a free internet community and its influence did since now not overwhelm the money-mesurement. but i am quite sure individual freedom and equality will win one day. greetings from berlin jan
