I think the point that we might be in agreeance is that if the access to the
internet grows to become as common as television , and i can't see why not
when for instance white goods in china (dvd and humble refrigerators) are
spreading like wildfire - then why not the computer?
Then if this access is there, we have the opportunity for more open
exchange, that's all.
(well that's not all, but ...... )
Our art world ... the contemporary art world .... is a very specialised and
I really don't think that anyone would presume that the world will suddenly
be become an aesthetic Eden if we all were online.
What we have to gain as culture vultures are fresh opportunities to see MORE
of other cultures.
I believe the The Beijing post sensation exhibition would not even be
discussed if for not for the net. Here is our access, and it will inevitably
become more reciprocal ...
