The first fiberoptic cabling was laid across the Pacific just a few years ago. Even last week China agreed to allow the entrance of off-shore companies to install internet wiring. New technologies will emerge, and with the interest in making money at the international level, companies will approach all areas of the globe. I also ask you to consider internet TV as the possible outcome in the future. Surely however, things will take at least a generation or two to change.
