Yes, of course, I have a suggestion, Kim, for example of controversial
content in web art.  In terms of political work, GashGirl [aka Francesca
da Rimini], springs to mind.  One of my favorites.

But you have to also ask not just about overt politics but how about the
Gertrude Steins among us.  I [Christy Sheffield Sanford] am one as is
Talan Memmott, Reiner Strasser and Mez.  What do I mean by that?  I mean
the formalists who are defining what the medium is.  This is more subtle
but to me, naturally, most important.  In the end, formalists change the
way the art is viewed/read.  

Certainly, have at it with Francesca, a worthy subject.
