I did not write that it was simply those who made the most noise
who believe in predestination, but those who believe in the virtues of
"marketing" - those who make the most noise _successfully_ who believe
they are deserving of their success.

This should not surprise you. Anyone who was ever successful
believed and believes it had to be for a reason -
that he/she _deserved_ it. But it is not necessarily true.
Success or failure are often a matter of chance.
Something to think about.
