Hello,

i do not of read all messages concerning the sensation topic due a lack of
time. The last statement from Susan Marquez goes in the right direction. We
as artists and as human beings shall have the human right to express
ourselves. If it cause in the puritan United States, where many artists are
victims of censorship or self-censorship, because there is not permitten to
show naked genitals even in a art context, some strongly reactions and not
in Berlin, but another work in London, it is show us, that nothing exists
without context. We as contemporary artist know that since Marcel Duchamp,
so i argue to concentrate our discussion in other subjects. Maybe some of
you may interests that the Sensation move start from a art speculant of
London, who "discover " young artist to promote, buy cheap works and ten
sell it after the sensation move as famous artist worldwide. In any case,
this is nothing new, it is how art market functions. Everyone knews the
transvanguardia italiana, selling us this label as art movement, like the
artist of sensation, calling them a kind of neurotic realism. Also the
Transvanguardia Italiana was "discover" from some galerist in the eighties,
bring them together and start the marketing tour !
