Dear Manfred Ewel,

maybe that you and some others didn't receive the messages, that the forum will continue all the next year. For some technical reasons we only have to make a break in January, but at the beginning of February the debate will start again. During the month of January the mailing list remains active for retrieving the messages and texts, and for new subscriptions. The only restriction is, that for about 5 weeks it will not be possible to post contributions, because this requires moderation/administration and technical support. Anyway, during the next two weeks the forums continues as before.

Best wishes,
Gerhard Haupt

The forum is soon coming to an end, and I would suggest that some of us who are interested in specific, common aspects of this discussion can stay in direct contact through individual mailing lists. The discussion on the forum has shown that interest is increasing, with many silent readers, and it would be great, if we could continue some issues of personal concern without a central server. (I am not sure how to do this, however, but maybe Gerhard Haupt could advise us on this.)
