Hello everybody,
As a result of ever-increasing interest, the House of World Cultures has decided to continue the forum "Cultural Exchange via Internet".
The *evaluation* I will be publishing next week will therefore be a *half-way* evaluation which will serve as one of the starting points for the continuation of the debate.
The forum will carry on in its current form until the end of December. We are asking for your consideration that a one-month pause will follow (I will be away) which we will also use to contemplate the forum's further development. During this time, the mailing list will remain intact to allow for the reading of all contributions and texts as well as the signing on of new members. However, the posting of contributions will not be possible during January.
At the beginning of February you will receive word on the forum's continuation which should definitely go on all of next year. So I hope this will give us the TIME for "exercising ourselves in a new communication game", provided by "a still unknown space", getting to know each other better in order to develop new "relations" of dialogue, as Ricardo Basbaum and Pedro Meyer brillantly wrote yesterday.
I think this is a bit of good news and would like to take this opportunity to thank all of those who have made this debate so interesting with their active participation.
Best wishes,
Gerhard Haupt
