The music programme of MEXartes-berlin.de: Mexican Wave - Current Music from Mexico The first overview of the full spectrum of current Mexican music production in Europe: from classical and new music to rock, world music and club sounds, a plethora of concerts introduces listeners to the musical cultures between Tijuana and Oaxaca, presenting the many-layered developments and connections between indigenous traditions, European modernity and American-influenced pop music as well as urban electronic club music.
