The artist and scholar of art and cultural issues has authored and edited several books and exhibition catalogues on phenomena of border arts, and now teaches at the Institute of Art and Art History at the University of Texas at Austin.

4:30 p.m.: The Border from the Perspective of “Chicana/os”. Lecture by Norma Klahn.
The literary scholar examines the border phenomenon from the point of view of women and Chicanos, or Mexican-Americans.
